JIM TURNER, GENERAL MANAGER                                                                                       ___________________

Boasting more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jim Turner is the general manager of Hotel Teatro, Denver’s luxury boutique hotel. As general manager, Turner leads the Hotel Teatro team in managing revenue generation, customer satisfaction and budget. 

Prior to joining Hotel Teatro, Turner worked with Destination Hotels & Resorts for more than fifteen years, most recently serving as senior vice president of operations. Boasting a collection of resorts and hotels, Destination Hotels & Resorts owns properties across the U.S., from Hawaii to Snowmass, Colo., to South Carolina. As senior vice president of operations, Turner oversaw the management of multiple properties in the collection, guided risk management and lead new property acquisitions.

While Turner delights in the personalized nature of boutique hotels, he has several years of experience with big-brand hoteliers under his belt. Prior to working with Destination Hotels & Resorts, Turner acted as general manager, director of operations and operations manager for Doubletree Hotels in Colorado and California.

When he’s not leading the team at Hotel Teatro, Turner is enjoying Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with his wife.
