As an Oregon native, Matt McCrary grew up in a strong culture of cross country and track. He ran collegiately for Western Oregon University for three years competing on the NCAA Division II level. After that, he decided to serve his country by enlisting in the Army National Guard in October of 2010. After returning from training, Matt moved to Denver where he transferred to the University of Colorado at Denver to continue studying chemistry, and chiefly to enroll in Army ROTC at a top 10 nationally ranked program. Currently, he is a platoon leader in the National Guard, as well as a front desk agent at Hotel Teatro. He will graduate with a BS in Chemistry, and will receive a Commission as an Officer in the United States Army.
Matt has been working with Hotel Teatro for about a month now, and he really enjoys the positive environment of the staff; they have made it a very smooth transition for him. The staff at Hotel Teatro enjoys striving to provide the best service possible to their guests every day, and they take pride in what they do. Matt is looking forward to continuing to provide excellent service as an employee at Hotel Teatro. Some of Matt’s interests outside of work include studying foreign language and culture, snowboarding, and playing guitar.
