Catch a Game in the Mile High City // Britt Hemela, Media & Marketing Manager

Denver is a great city to travel to watch your favorite team! With 300+ days of sunshine, Colorado offers beautiful weather throughout most of the year, and with most stadiums and fields being located downtown - you’ll have plenty to do outside of attending the game!

Coors Field

We love Coors Field, home to the Colorado Rockies! Hotel Teatro is just a mile away from the gates, close enough for a nice walk through downtown but far enough away from the nightlife in LoDo. There are lots of sports bars and fun night spots right outside of Coors Field, depending on what you’re looking to do before and after the game. It’s definitely a popular spot for going out on the weekends, so be prepared for lots of action when walking around downtown. You can certainly purchase tickets online ahead of time, but we love snagging seats at the box office, especially if you want a ticket for keepsake. We love sitting in the General Admission Rooftop and the Rockpile, but you can oftentimes snag great seats for an impressive price! Baseball fans should also checkout the National Ballpark Museum - right next to Coors Field!

Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium

You won’t be able to walk around Downtown Denver without seeing a Denver Broncos jersey. Whether you’re cheering on the hometown team or not, a game at Mile High is sure to be a good time. Football is probably the highest priced sport tickets in town, but the energy is electric! Tickets do sell out quickly, but you can often find resale tickets online with ease. Hotel Teatro is located just under two miles from the stadium, Uber is our favorite way to get to and from this stadium, but there are a handful of shuttles and public transportation options as well. Tailgating is a must, and most visiting teams have a reserved spot to do so. You can find information about tickets, parking and bag policies online at http://www.denverbroncos.com/ Denver’s hometown outdoor lacrosse team, The Outlaws, also play at Mile High! Check out their schedule and additional details online at http://www.denveroutlaws.com/

Pepsi Center

Pepsi Center is home to three Denver sports teams including the Denver Nuggets, The Avalanche and The Colorado Mammoth! Enjoy a quick ten minute walk to Pepsi Center from Hotel Teatro and maybe even grab dinner and drinks at The Nickel beforehand! Hotel guests can request a ride via our complimentary hotel car service, to and from, on a first come first serve basis. There’s not a bad seat in the arena, but we do recommend purchasing your tickets online ahead of time at http://www.pepsicenter.com/

Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

Soccer fans can witness the Colorado Rapids take on other MLS teams at this beautiful soccer-specific stadium. Unlike other sports venues in the city, this park is eight miles outside of the city, so we definitely recommend thinking about transportation ahead of time. Parking is free during regular season, but you can also use a rideshare app like Lyft or Uber to get there. Soccer fans can also meet up at a participating bar and catch a bus to and from the game. Tickets are typically fairly easy to come by, we recommend buying online at http://www.dickssportinggoodspark.com/ however season ticket holders also use Flash Seats to sell tickets at great prices!
