Our Favorite Spots to Grab a Cocktail in Denver // Sales & Marketing Team!

With Great American Beer Fest on the horizon, we know after a long day of drinking, sometimes a nice cocktail is the best way to end the day. Our sales department at Hotel Teatro has put together a list of some of Denver’s best cocktail spots we know locals and visitors will love! Pro tip: You can also stop and sip on some of the most popular cocktails on tap at our onsite restaurant, The Nickel if you feel like staying in.

Union Lodge is thee BEST place to grab a cocktail, and it’s only a five minute walk from Hotel Teatro! It’s a small and intimate space, so not the best for large groups, but perfect for date night or a quick nightcap. I love their Gin Fizz, it’s not only delicious but also beautiful, presentation is priority at this downtown Denver hidden gem. They always have a nice list of seasonal cocktails with a great variety of high quality gin, vodka and more! A close second is definitely Black Eye Coffee in the Cap Hill neighborhood which turns into a cocktail spot called White Lies after dark. Since this local favorite is within 2.5 miles of the hotel, you can ask the guys at the bellstand for a ride to and from, or stay in the neighborhood and enjoy a late night taco at Torchy’s or a night out on South Broadway! - Brittney Hemela, Media and Marketing Manager

Retrograde is a speakeasy in the back of one’s of the Mile High City’s best ice cream shops, Frozen Matter! I love the atmosphere, and that you can enjoy having a conversation and actually hear the other person - all in a luxury setting. I always order the White Dwarf - reminiscent to a pina colada but so much tastier The drinks are creative and well balanced and the menu has enough options to please any palate! - Desiree Zeigler, Groups Sales Manager

Finn's Mannor is one of the best places to grab a cocktail in RiNo and it just happens to be walking distance from some of Denver’s best breweries. When it’s warm outside, be sure to try the popular “frose” cocktail - complete with a cute little umbrella! - Rachel Fisher, Catering and Conference Services Manager

Moscow Mules from Dos Santos, with Arette Blanco, Basil Lime Liquer and Barritt’s Ginger Beer (the best ginger beer ever!) These are the best mules I’ve found in Denver and it doesn’t hurt that they’re located right across the street from my apartment! I definitely recommend checking them out during Happy Hour - where you can snag a mule, paloma or a house margarita for just $5 - yummy and affordable, the way to my heart! - Erica Whyman, Private Dining and Sales Coordinator
